We first fell in love with miniature donkeys on the Internet.  We
purchased a new farm in April 2004 where we moved our horses.
We have had horses for 25+ years and decided we were ready for
our own business.

After much research we decided that miniature donkeys were for us.
We were off to the Great American Miniature Donkey sale in July in
Lebanon, OH.

We were very fortunate to have the winning bid on Danny de
Valintino, a grand champion halter donkey and champion sire.  We
then got the winning bid on a yearling spotted jenny - LaCantera.
We decided to add an aged jenny, Lenore, from the Elms Farm to
be a companion to LaCantera until she reaches breeding age.

In October we purchased Tiffany from Frontier Legends in Texas
and were anticipating her time to foal in January.  We thought she
would be our first to foal on our farm.  She was bred to Luigi a
grand champion jack.

Two weeks before Christmas Lenore blessed us with a beautiful and
completely unexpected spotted boy.

Two weeks after Christmas Tiffany produced a beautiful black/dark
brown? jenny.

We look forward to breeding these two jennys to Danny in the
Spring.
